Sake can be daunting to taste and learn about, especially from so many different breweries. Amabuki Brewery of Saga Prefecture on Kyushu Island begs to differ–their sake line is made exclusively with various yeasts from flowers, such as strawberry blossoms, marigolds, sunflowers, and even a rose from…rose! To celebrate two new sakes in Georgia’s market, our sake advisor Steph is hosting this unique tasting of six sakes from Amabuki, each with their own style and flavor profile for the most comprehensive side-by-side from a single brewery.
In addition to this unbelievable tasting, Steph will lead you through six potential watercolor paintings of the flowers behind these sakes. Don’t worry–whether you’re an art beginner or know your way around a canvas and brush, this will be a night for art expression, casual education, and inspiring sips as we celebrate May Day and spring showers with Amabuki Brewery!
*Light snacks will be served. Workshop includes snacks, a tasting of six sakes, 1 canvas, watercolors, and brushes
